Last month I wrote a brief book review of Living Life In The Zone, written by Kyle Rote, Jr. and Dr. Joe Pettigrew. This month I have decided to give away a copy on the blog. To enter for a chance to win all you need to do is read my review and then come back here and provide a comment on why you want the book (even if you want it to give to someone else). I’ll randomly draw a name on Monday (February 8th, 2010) and announce the winner in the comments section here. If you win I will also contact you via e-mail so I can make arrangements to get you the book (so make sure you fill that part out when leaving a comment).
My experience has been that most of us, especially men, have a need with our quiet time (devotions). I am always eager to find good material that will help me and other men in this area. I am interested in seeing how relevant these authors are and how easy it would be to apply principles and stories they share that would be beneficial to men.

I would love to have this for my husband or either of my sons-in-law. I have enjoyed reading your blog since my daughter, Marsha Flannagin Barton, introduced me to it. My youngest daughter is now 13 and you have had several blogs that I have enjoyed reading. Thanks for all the great information.

I think this is a great book for men, men do need to wake up and be what god intended for men to be. Bring men back to heart of worship to put God first, and to lead his family in the right direction. i am inspired by this book. i also think it is great that the authors did this as a 40 day devotional and easy to read, sometimes the fastness of this life leaves no room for stuff especially with work, children, church. thanks for this awesome book for men, i will request my pastor to give to men in our church. i did see one of the authors on tbn about giving as a gift for fathers day. we need to encourage our men and guide them in the right direction. children are being lost without role models of fathers. thank you for this book.

My incredibly awesome husband who loves Jesus, his family, and sports would enjoy this book. If I win it, I could surprise him with it for Valentine’s Day. 🙂

I want this book to give to my dad. I know he would enjoy the sports analogies, and I think he could use some encouragement in his spiritual life. Thank you for the chance to win, and for the review!

This would be wonderful for my husband, brother, and son. I’m not an expert on books written from and for the male perspective, so it would be great to win this and pass it on to the special men in my life. Thank you for the chance!
